Darcy Ray is a car wash and industrial wash system expert with 29 years of experience in design, installation, project management, and site development. With a background as a 3rd-year Millwright and Machinist, he has been instrumental in engineering and executing car wash systems of all sizes, from single-bay operations to large-scale 26-bay self-serve facilities. Over the past two decades, Darcy has specialized in project management, overseeing 50+ major car wash builds across Canada. His expertise extends beyond traditional car washes—he has designed industrial wash systems for the mining sector and played a key role in the development of Canada’s only touchless IBA system, branded as Hotshot. Darcy was also heavily involved in the design and installation of the first Rock-N-Wash® site, giving him a deep understanding of its business model, operational efficiencies, and technical requirements. His extensive hands-on experience ensures projects are executed with precision, efficiency, and long-term reliability.
